In order to provide an environment that would allow people to discuss Lithuanian Genealogy, history, and culture, as well as share their personal stories (e,g successes, brick walls, etc.), LGGS has sponsored (since 1999) an email group that is currently hosted at YahooGroups.com. There are currently over 1500+ members, from beginners (just starting to research their family genealogy) to seasoned veterans (willing to assist newcomers). The email list is a FREE service and everyone is welcome to join. Particpation in the group requires membership, and so there are two options available: If you already have a Yahoo ID, you can subscribe to our group by clicking the following button and logging into Yahoo with your ID and Password. Please be sure that you enter a valid email address as we will send a confirmation email to the address you provided. This email will provide additional information and a link to complete the process of joining the group.
