you join as a paid member, your support enables us to publish our journal, Proteviai ("Our Forefathers"), obtain products dealing with Lithuanian
history/culture and maintaining this website and contents for
free
to all visitors. We, at LGGS, cannot thank you enough for your
contributions during the last 8 years. We hope to continue to
bring you the best connection on the web for Lithuanian research
for
many years to come.

Membership Information -
Membership is open to anyone with an interest in Lithuanian genealogy.
Yearly membership is valid for twelve months from the month in which
the membership is processed. You may join at any time. Members will
receive two issues of our newsletter and you will be able to submit surnames for inclusion in our surname database. Membership in LGGS also makes an
ideal gift for relatives and friends, especially those just beginning
their family research.
Types of Membership/Benefits
* Individual Member: $16
USD [Now for anyone in USA, Canada,
Overseas] -
You receive 2 issues of the LGGS
newsletter (equivalent to a 1 yr
membership), Proteviai and unlimited surname submissions to the
Lithuanian Global Genealogical Society for publication on this
website.
* Bronze Member: $35
USD - Same as individual plus support
of LGGS mission to assist Lithuanian Nationals with society
membership and provide donation copies of newsletter to
non-profit entities and publication as supporting member
on LGGS website.
* Silver Member: $125
USD - You will receive 4 issues of
the LGGS newsletter (equivalent to a 2 yr membership), annual
membership directory, publication as supporting member on
website and publication in our newsletter Proteviai. Proceeds
will also support funding for additional research projects
for acquisition and/or recording of genealogical records
both in the US, Lithuania and other countries.
* Gold Member: $350
USD - Same as Silver Member plus lifetime
membership in Lithuanian Global Genealogy Society.
* Institutional Membership: $16
USD - Societies, Family Associations,
Libraries, and other non-profit entities.
* All memberships include an annual directory
of our members, which include name, email, and address. This directory
allows members to find others in their area for contact. If you wish
to protect your privacy, you may choose to have your address information
withheld (select the "No" checkbox on the membership form).
In this case, only your name will be listed in the directory.
* For our Bronze, Silver and Gold Members, we recognize those who were able to contribute a little extra support to the society on our website.
Joining Our Society - Joining the Lithuanian Global Genealogical Society is a simple
process which offers you a few choices in order to process your
membership:
