In Memorium
John Robert Peters
July 5, 1935 - May 22, 2012
What his resume doesn't say, is the many years and hours that he spent as Co-Moderator of the LithuanianGenealogy. The last few years "Bob" battled with lung cancer had hoped to make it through this summer (2012), but it appears that he was needed elsewhere, a little earlier than planned.
"Bob" was a very regular contributor to LGGS and has helped hundreds of people in their search of their Lithuanian roots. His sharing of knowledge and expertise in Lithuanian
genealogy was one of his greatest passions. He is survived by his wife, a daughter,a sister, and several grandchildren.
John - we miss you dearly ~Richard |
